About the FMST

The Friends of the MST (FMST) is an organization of individuals set up with the objective of providing support for the efforts of the Brazilian Landless Workers Movement to achieve social and economic justice while securing respect for human rights. On a programmatic basis it will: (1) materially support projects of economic development, (2) make accessible background information and current news about the MST for the English speaking public, (3) strive to build a network capable of responding to the highest priority political and human rights requests. The FMST is a fiscally-sponsored project of Global Exchange.
